Hello birdies! The feeder itself is fairly sturdy with multiple mounting options. The camera mount has a lot of adjustment too. Bird (and squirrels) have no issues getting to the seeds. The app is just OK. The camera looks to have a pir motion sensor but you can adjust the detection distance, just the sensitivity. I tried to pair it with other apps with no luck. Overall it works for what it needs to do.
Great gift for my mother, slightly difficult to set up but the app and camera work very well.
This product, for half the price of other brands, is wonderful. The app is not great, sometimes you have to change from bird spotting to motion detection because the bird doesn’t set off the camera. But overall it’s worth the money.
My husband and I bought this because it was recommended by our cousin. We love it!!!! It was fairly easy to set it up, just make sure you don’t use 5G network!!!!! The birds took awhile to come to it, but now they know where to come and eat!!! Highly recommend
My mother is older and doesn’t drive any more. She loves to stay in her home and watch her bird houses and feeders. I got her this so that she could see her birdies up close and she just absolutely loves it. Had to adjust it to face the sun more, but other than that it was pretty simple to set up, mount and install the app on her phone. Two things I would change….the door where you put the bird feed is a double screw door, so each time I want to fill the feeder I have to get a stool, take a screw driver and open the feeder, fill it and then screw it back closed. Why not just a clip in door? Also, my mom does complain that the app will give her the formal name of the bird instead of the common name. But
other than that, this was a great purchase that she really enjoys.
