Bought this camera as a bit of a nanny cam for when out of town and have dog walkers/watchers dropping in to check on the dogs. The camera captures really clear visuals. As mentioned in the description, there is no audio and one should not expect that. The camera, depending on the lighting in the room, it is possible to see a small lens but one would really have to look hard. So, I would say one star down for that. What I did was, I inserted a charging cable and had a plant in the direct vicinity to cast a bit of a shadow. I highly recommend taking the time to style the area surrounding the camera so as to not make it obvious. Take the extra effort and test the camera set up by reviewing the footage prior to leaving home so as to make sure you do receive the proper viewing area. It is a great product that has worked for us.

This product performs just as described. Good quality video picture for such a small lens. It has a wide angle so it records nearly all of a room. Having children of various ages, friends of children, and pets in the house, we use it for keeping an eye on all the activities when we aren’t in the room. I use it on motion detection mode. It starts recording quickly and continues for 5 minutes and stops recording if there is no longer any motion detected. If motion is detected then it starts a new 5 minute recording beginning right where the first recording ended. I like that the mini SD card is hidden as well as the mode switch and that it is easy to download the recordings to a cellphone or computer. I usually plug it into my portable battery pack with a charger cord I modified so that it does not actually charge the power pack but looks like it is in use. Very nice, useful product.
