The controls on the camera are easy to use and memorize. You can adjust the power of the IR LEDs as well and zoom in probably about 150ft with pretty good clarity. There is some learning to do about setting the brightness of the IR illumination as it impacts the crispness of the image and can even saturate degrading the image quality.
This has always been one of my wish items. Just never thought I’d get a chance to experience it, for there usually alittle too pricey for me. However came across these ones and the opportunity opened up as these came at a great price and jumped onboard. Wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised as well as excitedly also to use. Waited until after camping to give a real used review. It was awesome to have them out there, even if a bit unnerving to see all those mice that came out at night
If you’re looking for night vision binoculars for the kids, this is a great solution. When I started researching goggles intended for hunting, they turned out to be much higher in price than something I intended as a present for an 8 year-old, but then I found these night vision goggles from Profey about a quarter of the price, and the choice was clear.
