Bought this camera as a bit of a nanny cam for when out of town and have dog walkers/watchers dropping in to check on the dogs. The camera captures really clear visuals. As mentioned in the description, there is no audio and one should not expect that. The camera, depending on the lighting in the room, it is possible to see a small lens but one would really have to look hard. So, I would say one star down for that. What I did was, I inserted a charging cable and had a plant in the direct vicinity to cast a bit of a shadow. I highly recommend taking the time to style the area surrounding the camera so as to not make it obvious. Take the extra effort and test the camera set up by reviewing the footage prior to leaving home so as to make sure you do receive the proper viewing area. It is a great product that has worked for us.

This product performs just as described. Good quality video picture for such a small lens. It has a wide angle so it records nearly all of a room. Having children of various ages, friends of children, and pets in the house, we use it for keeping an eye on all the activities when we aren't in the room. I use it on motion detection mode. It starts recording quickly and continues for 5 minutes and stops recording if there is no longer any motion detected. If motion is detected then it starts a new 5 minute recording beginning right where the first recording ended. I like that the mini SD card is hidden as well as the mode switch and that it is easy to download the recordings to a cellphone or computer. I usually plug it into my portable battery pack with a charger cord I modified so that it does not actually charge the power pack but looks like it is in use. Very nice, useful product.

The video os impressive considering the size of the camera but the motion detection does not seem that good. It could be how I have it setup but if I am real close to the camera it picks up the motion but any distance away it does not seem to work. Overall its a good purchase and fits the bill.

Its Just like a regular charger, I like it cause the camera doesnt show at all, you only see it if you have it close and even like thought , theres another kind of chargers that comes with a lot bigger round and bright light like the one on my pic, so its normal.

It récords clear and its very responsive when feels someone its around and starts recording inmediately, in some way I feel protected having this little gadget and I can watch the videos in .mov formart easily in my little mp4 , so I dont have to attached any sd reader to my phone so noone noticias that Im watching my security videos.

I ordered this camera, not knowing what to expect and TBH this is better than my RING doorbell camera and as good as what you see on many cell phones. VERY happy with this! The clarity and field of view is excellent, and the motion sensor picks up activity in more than enough time to capture the entire scene. Low light capability is excellent, and the unit has the option to just use the double USB cable to retrieve video - no need to actually remove the card. Build quality is excellent and the packaging is as good or better than actual Apple products. The instructions and supporting documentation are perfect and easy to understand. My only regret is that I didnt get this sooner!

Excellent image quality even in medium-low light levels. Simple operation, simply plug it into an AC outlet and it begins recording, unplug it and it stops. Two points to watch for, the motion sensitivity isn't highly sensitive, and there's no way to adjust sensitivity.. So if you want to be 100% sure to capture everything, be sure to flip the switch to continuous recording - do not rely on motion detection. 2.) there is no audio, it's just video. So if you need audio you'll need to find an alternative or use a separate audio recorder.

I purchased several of these to plug in to outlets in various parts of my house.

I view it as very inexpensive burglary insurance, as I live alone and sometimes I'm out of the house. If I come home and find the door has been kicked in or something is missing, there is a good chance I will have video showing the intruder that can assist the police in tracking them down. With the nationwide increase in property crime, the comfort it gives me is worth the price even if I never need to use it.

For the price, it's a great product. Insert a micro-SD card, plug it in to an outlet, and when the card is full it starts recording over earlier video without requiring any attention by you. For my purposes it was ideal, and the price was more than fair.
